I guess if your USP is boxer engined sports cars the electric version is more of an effort.

Harry’s Garage latest video is basically saying big manufacturers just ain’t gonna meet the government targets on EV.

I see a lot of comments from the pro EV brigade saying he is talking nonsense.

Probably due to a hardcore consumer resitance to moving to EV

I believe EVs are becoming more "acceptable". At home they are much more frequently seen on the road. I suppose I live in what might be a more affluent area but I also I suspect people are realising that the scare stories which the Mail and others perpetuate are becoming less of a reality.

Obv they won't suit everyone at the moment, but that's OK, not everyone is suited by a Lamborghini or an SUV or a moped. But it's nice to see not everyone has a closed mind to them, or is at least prepared to have a look.

A son bought a Taycan when they first came out. When it ran he loved it. Unfortunately the range was picked nearer 200 than 280 and there were reliability issues. New AC needed in week 1 and only resolved after 3 weeks when the dealer took the unit out of a showroom car.
2 x replacement batteries did not solve the range It was on a low loader, 3/4 times in that 3 months, sold at 18 months.
All Taycans, from day 1, are having new batteries as there is fire risk in the original design.
