My son’s car recently broke down and is awaiting repair. In the meantime he is without a vehicle.
Is there any organisation that offers car hire whilst a car is being repaired?

My Skoda cover does and it's probably an optional extra on other schemes. Skoda dealer had loan cars but they usually need 2-3 weeks notice.
Otherwise it's a track round the day hire companies to find the best deal.

Thank you for your interest.
Could you be a bit more explicit?

? Obviously a car hire company…not cheap in the uk.
Most, if not all, insurers offer a courtesy car in the event of an accident, normally a pay for Citra option.
I was offered it on my recent car insurance renewal, but as I’m retired, have access to two local train stations, and a bus service, declined that option.
Any friends willing to let him drive their car should they be away on holiday ?
