Suzuki - CarPlay wireless connectors - legacylad

I’m away next month on a road trip, and thinking I should have a wireless connection as back up, or even replace, the wired variant.
The wiring, out of a USB on my 2019 Vitara, doesn’t aesthetically bother me…or should I just buy a good quality replacement cable…current one is showing slight fraying around the edges.
Any personal recommendations please ? Reviews are very mixed. Some get good reviews, both other reviews same the same type is pants.

We're Android rather than Apple but I'm not sure it makes a difference.

If the cable's not an issue of itself and can be neatly accomodated in the car, the one in my Fabia was tucked behind the dash and plugged into the phone which was mounted on the windscreen.

Just go for a decent cable.

Got my daughter one of these and it's been fine for the past year or so. Look no wires!

Delivered in 8 days, usually there is VAT to add but it doesn't seem to do it on this one so £10.58 delivered

Common issue on the vitara is the usb socket . I was having connections issues with mine . Tried all sorts of quality leads , but ended up replacing the socket in the console. It’s a 5 minute job , but the part is expensive. ( around £65 ) . I took the old one apart and I’m going to replace the usb connector on its own . Very cheap , but a bit of a fiddly job . My new socket works fine now , so haven’t bothered with any Bluetooth device.
