Car Tax - Saying No MOT - zippy

I am trying to tax SWMBO's car.

Tax expires 31/03/2025.
MOT expires 30/03/2025. Confirmed by the DVLA's website.

The online tax system is saying: "MOT test certificate could not be found"

Is it only possible to tax the car after a new MOT is issued?

The MoT has to be in place on the date the tax starts.

If current tax expires on 31-03-25 new tax commences 01-04-25 so no MoT on that date.

Will be taking the little red roadster next week.. Only need a ticket to let me put my private plate on...bah ! Been working on her on and off, improved the boot with a wooden floor, some paintwork and a black fitted carpet.. New interior mirror, silvering gone and it's a special one holding the sun visor rods.

Vitesse wooden door cappings came with the car so rubbed down and varnished ready to go on. Maybe tomoz if it's dry. Much nicer to work on when the lid is off !
