Been doing a lot of half hour walks recently so mostly round the streets about my house.
I happened to notice on the rear wheel arch of a new Kia Sportage, the absolute tiniest of “lips” to obviously allow the car to comply with the tyre protrusion regulations.
Since then, every car I pass I check to see how obvious or subtle the shape is on the wheel arch to comply. Some like big 4x4s have moulded wheel arches so no issue. Wee cars tend to have skinny tyres that are ok although missus old Fiesta did. My X1 and missus Beetle doesn’t have them.
More mid size cars affected. I’m telling you, once you notice you can’t help not checking others!
