Fisker a EV entrant in the UK has filed for bankruptcy in the US as their EV sales have fallen.
Fisker in the UK has seen 258 car registrations in the UK in 2024, 40 of them last month.
How many were sold ?
Many, IMHO, will have been registered as demonstrators, test cars etc.

I remember seeing one of these in Cologne last December and thinking it didn't look too bad in a generic-SUV kind of way. There have been some for sale on Autotrader (presumably pre-registrations), but of all the cars that need manufacturer support going forward it is an EV. I mean how do you get software glitches sorted when the manufacturer has gone bust?

Not quite big or mean enough looking for the school run though.

Their Milton Keynes site was emptied weeks ago.

Every time I see this brand mentioned I think they are talking about the people who make scissors.

Has the market for EVs slumped. Was reading last week that 46,000 Teslas are sat about in fields and parking areas

Cant find it now but saw some tweets at weekend showing some of these cars for sale with huge price reductions. I just can't see why anyone would risk it now?

Fire Sale ex Factory in the US
$12,500 to $16,500 for bulk buys
Even at these low prices who would buy them? Parts, even a few months down the line might be tricky?
Then again, the $16,500 write off value in 12/18 months time might just be the depreciation on a Tesla!

Not as tricky as you think, almost entirely put together by parts currently used in other cars. biggest issue will be software bugs, of which it is riddled, Fisker couldnt/wouldnt fix them while it was making them, as you can be sure no-one will now.

But how do you identify them? I had precisely that problem back in the '60s and found they were Moggie Minor bits.

Apparently internet connected activities - are no longer working in Fiskers - including opening sunroofs - which apparently needed to talk to Fisker via the "cloud" to open.
Some insurance companies are also refusing to offer any terms other than 3rd party to Fisker owners as parts to repair them are not available.

I wouldn't buy one on the name alone....................
