My daughter just renewed her insurance with a different provider and has just remembered she claimed for windscreen damage during the past year. Will it matter that she hasn't declared it? If she does now is it likely to make much difference to the premium?

Do you mean a new screen or just one of those repairs they do to chips?
Even if it's a new screen I don't think it affects premium/NCB etc.
As ever with anything like this it's best to ask and/or declare than risk hassle when there's a claim.

Possibly. You are legally obliged to declare any claims. An undeclared claim could result in Insurers refusing to pay any subsequent claims. Since it is a windscreen claim they may agree to accept the business without further charge.
