Made the effort to ring around for the 27k service on the Sirion unlike the previous two services. It paid off. The Leicester dealer came in at £211, our supplying dealer came in at £209 but the prize and booking went to a dealer 22 miles out from us who came in at £167, which even if you take into account the £5 extra on fuel to get there, its a great saving, even on a relatively obscure car.
This dealer may well get the nod again if their service is good. Im not sure how much their out in the middle of nowhere location helps their pricing policy, but Im happy to go out another 10 miles to get that kinda saving. Wife will be happy too - shes paying :-)

Well done, Stu. I do the same with Volvo dealers and my preferred (most local) one has always matched the best price I've found elsewhere.
