SAIC/MG have just confirmed 2 'halo' models for the MG4.
Both are £36.5k
X-Power - 61kWh, 429bhp, 0-60 3.8s, 240miles WLTP
Extended Range - 77kWh, 240bhp, 0-60 6.5s, 325 miles WLTP
Going for the jugular against the non-Tesla machines.

Had a look at any of the BYD models yet?
I saw a modicum of excitement elsewhere over the recently-announced Volvo EX30 as well.

On paper the EX-30 looks good but I understand it is a rather small car, like a Hyundai Kona.
Supercar performance + space for luggage at 10-20% of the price.
Goodbye Lambo, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Porsche ...........??

Unlikely, you can't go braaap braaap braaaap while driving at 15mph along the High Street while the sun glints off your cueball noggin in an MG4 :-)
Ummm let me think.... if you're offering to me a Porsche GT3 then I'll pass on the MG!
Personally, I’d settle for a base model 911 Carrera.
Even a second hand one
Base Carrera is only £97k - was expecting £70k or so!
For political humanitarian and economic reasons I won’t buy a Chinese car - there are plenty of other cars out. And yes, I post this from a Chinese made iPhone. But there is no choice in mobile phones. There is with cars.
