In this affluent part of the world, Moraira on the northern CostaBlanca, there is the full range of convertibles...all the usual high end German stuff ten a penny...plus every other exotica you can think of from AC Cobras to Italian stuff.
Got me thinking...I can’t think of a single Japanese manufacturer who builds a four seater convertible. Lexus used to have the IS 250C ( on my recommendation my ex bought an IS200 Sport Cross in 2003 and she kept it until two months ago when the doors rotted through) until 2013, and a friend had an ultra reliable SC430. Discontinued in 2009.
Any reason why ? Possibly the European market was too small (doubtful), or the customer base for such wanted image over reliability.
