It's an interesting concept. Whilst in public there is no expected right to privacy - hence the number of CCTV cameras etc. being inside a vehicle is different and privacy may be expected. Someone pointing a camera in to the driver's cabin may be a step too far?

Fit a reflective window film - assuming it is still allowed.

George Orwell in 1984 obviously over estimated the capacity of the state to implement surveillance technologies by ~ 4 decades.

We will need to see whether the drones are deployed in anger. ANPR has been around for 3-4 decades and cars still roam the road without MoT, Tax or Insurance.
