Police seize car held together with duct tape. - VxFan
Police have seized a learner driver's 'death trap' car which they found held together with duct tape.

Officers pulled over the grey Vauxhall Astra yesterday in Telford, Shropshire and found the driver also had no insurance.

Maybe the driver was just trying to repair the quack in the bumper?

If it's good enough for Apollo13 it's good enough for an Astra.

Wasn’t it the mk 1 Mondeo hatch that had a rear bumper which fluttered at speed from new, until fatigue cracked them and the duct tape repair was rolled out…?

Edited to add, should have called it speed tape. Good enough for a plane :)

Obviously it broadcast " Nick me !) and no insurance ensured a trip to the pound.
I suspect there were other things that needed attention but the duct tape was just holding the bonnet closed ossifer ?
