The Oxford coverage looks like a nice set up for the BBC and reporting crew.

I have been to that location many many times. it is certainly not a location you happen to stumble on. ( Hence the DPD van there. )

So been there once when the bollards were down and through I went:-)
The cameras onThe High were working.

I got the photos, guilty and paid the fine.

Of course the camera crew will have been tipped off. I see the police were there, not sure if they actually turned anyone around or moved on the people blocking the way?

BBC news reported that one driver called the police because they were obstructing them. The police put them right. DPD were contacted and replied their driver would be made aware of their responsibilities.

The drivers were trying to pass an 'all motor vehicles prohibited' sign.

Funny how we get annoyed these days, isn't it? Me included.

Drivers breaking the law and getting angry at being stopped.

Pedestrians getting annoyed at cars taking advantage.

I've always tended towards the angry, but I think we're all getting worse.
