Some intriguing stuff on here.

They also have some items for sale - I am intrigued by the 1969 Austin manufactured fibreglass Mini which was built in Chile for South America. $10,000 seems very fair price.

No FM2R do these still exist in Chile? I suspect that you could run a nice little business sourcing them for the UK?

Well now, I didn't know they ever existed. There are old minis around, in fact there's one parked around the corner from me most days. I shall start tapping them and will let you know.

As for sourcing them, it's something I've looked at several times. VW Campers/Kombi/vans in particular.

You can make money at it, but not really enough to actually spend the time required to do it. I know a guy who sources old US pickup trucks from down here and sells them in the US, he does quite well, but cars to the UK is not as clearly profitable. I look at it from time to time and worry around the idea hoping to see some daylight.
