Though not a fan of his work as a musician, I can highly recommend Rockers & Rollers by Brian Johnson of AC/DC fame.

Its not really an autobiography, more a collection of motoring related memories ( and some are not for the narrow minded - he was in a rock band in the 70s and 80s and lived life to the full!!).

Anyway, an entertaining way to pass an hour or two.

I wouldn't recommend Slough either. :)

Off that way (Reading) myself in a bit. May dig out Black Ice to play en route - an extraordinary vocal effort for a 61-year-old singer who, perhaps, hasn't taken the best care of his instrument over the years.

Interviewed a job candidate once who listed 'Reading' as one of his interests. Even ignoring the misplaced capital, isn't reading just a basic skill like walking or tying shoelaces, rather than something to be defined by?

Digression over; back to business.

Reading/Reading?

I read the film title 'Burn After Reading' as implying immolation before Paddington!!

I recall he was one of the better 'star in the reasonably priced car' participants.
As was that other rock legend Ronnie Wood.

I'd LOVE to see the full interviews, as opposed to the editted versions.
