Local fatal accident. - R.P.

There was carnage on local roads that week-end - there were two double fatals and a single fatal. The inquest was into the one that caused more than a stir in the town. Horrific.

Did you see Crash Detectives tonight (Wales only)? They investigated a case where a 4x4 hit a tree at 101mph and split in half. You couldn't recognise it as a vehicle, it just looked like a pile of scrap metal.

Driver (Killed instantly) was over the limit.

Caught the end of the programme. Horrific wasn't it. The driver was in court the other day IIRC

No amount of speed cameras will prevent the mentality which causes that kind of carnage.

Just as an aside there was a link in the feature to another story regarding someone who flashed an on coming car to warn of a speed camera. Unfortunately it was a plain Police car and he got drug swiped for his troubles - unlucky!!
