What entry are you looking at? Looks normal.

....normal for your car(s) maybe; not for most.....

Scroll down...there's a comment about the owner. Four letter word.
|
Which years MoT is this comment on?
|
None of them; This has obviously done enough rounds on social media for it to have been edited since the OP.

The whole report has gorn
"There was a problem
Please amend the following details:
You must enter your registration number in a valid format "

A wind up, surely?
Any garage who put that down would have the proverbial ton of bricks on them. The now retired owner of my indie was telling me that if a tester booked off a test ten minutes early a phone call would follow in the next fifteen minutes accusing them of not doing the test properly. VOSA are pretty strict on policing the MoT system and a comment like that would not go unremarked.

You'd think that would be case. I'd be apoplectic if I found some personal comment about me, my looks or the car in MoT observations. OTOH it's by no means the first time something like this has been reported.

The owner has commented - he saw the funny side.

I'm not sure I would. However, I suspect that the MOT tech perhaps didn't write it and that he left something logged in under his name.
I see the comment was actually made 4 years ago, I wonder what caused it to pop up now.

Reminds me of when I had to take my car into the local garage for some accident repair work. We'd agreed on a time to drop it off, anyway I missed a phone call* regarding a change to this time.
So when I did drop it off, the mechanic played back an answer phone message from the receptionist (who was a bit of a battleaxe) with the new details. Well lets say I was spoken about in less than flattering terms because I'd missed a phonecall. Me and the mechanic just had a laugh about it.
When I went to collect it she was there, looking quite embarrassed. Never said anything but she was nice as pie after that.
*I'd already mentioned that at xyz time i couldn't have my phone on me.

Agreed. A friend of mine is an MOT tester, and said the same thing. Log-on and log-off times are strictly monitored, as are the test results/comments. Anything out of the ordinary is picked up and jumped on, often the same day.

Berlingo was MoT'd today. Failed initially due to a damaged coil spring (now replaced).
Advisories for:
(a) tyres near wear limit (know about this and will get them sorted shortly)
(b) Emissions too clean to register (!!)

I was thinking more of a comment for colleagues..

Someone (not a million miles away) posted a few of these up before.
