 Saharan sand - bathtub tom
I was surprised to see my local roads seemingly white with dried salt as if gritted overnight. The car's covered too.
I presume it's this Saharan sand. Anyone else noticed this?

Not on the road, but I was in a meeting for a few hours down South yesterday and the car was quite sandy when I got back to it - can't recall being aware of it happening during the daytime before.

yip, car got covered in it on Tuesday in Glasgow. There was a short rain shower, couldnt have lasted longer than 5 mins. I was out in Transit van at the time and was conscious I had to use the skooshies to clear the windscreen after it stopped.

Got back to car park and all the cars had a fine layer of sand on them. Tried hosing it off last night but some still there. My last application of wax couldnt have been good enough!

Some here in north Wales - considering a weekend in Morocco biking as it happens !
