Can I disable it? It’s a pita on the muddy stuff and not much better on black top on knobblies.

Does it have its own fuse?
|
I’m hoping so. Haven’t explored yet.

What year is it?
Because a 10 year old one has a 40A (I think, big anyway) fuse for the ABS control module which you can pull. As I recall it affected nothing else but then you drive around with the warning lights on.
In the event of an accident then it can probably be detected and probably would do you a whole bunch of no good.

Google says it an be temporarily disabled at low speeds long along with the stability control.
If you tell me the year I'll try and find the exact details for you.

06 Mark. I only want to disable it off road as it’s lethal in the muck. Instead of locking a wheel and benefitting from a build up of muck as a wedge it just keeps on going. It’s a worry really.

Excellent Sir thank you. I’ll give it a go at the next opportunity..
