 Toyota to reduce manual versions of Yaris - bathtub tom
It would seem Toyota are to concentrate on hybrid versions. The manual gearbox option is being deleted for some models for 2019. There are no more manual versions for some 2018 models available.

Is this the way forward?

Seen similar comments from VW, and that wasn't hybrid related. Think it's easier to control emissions with an "auto" ("auto" as DSG isn't really auto) box.

Toyota GB have run out of manual petrol versions. A factory order for more is in place.

I believe that BMW have removed the manual version from their range. Given the superb auto box who'd want a manual anyway ?
