A one year lease of a Merc GLA for equivalent of £58 per week?
Looks too good to be true?

It does look too good. No doubt someone with better knowledge will comment. However did you know you have left your details in the link? No doubt the mods can edit if its an issue.

Bobby all your details are shown on the link..

Hide it. Right now.

You can always unhide it later if appropriate.

Bobby,

Left the thread visible - but removed the link. Re-insert it as and when you see this.

Cheers - just delete it - I never filled in any of those details and have never signed up with them so cookies / sold on information or whatever means I ain't recommending them!

Thanks for the prompt actions!

It may not be them.

Do you use a password manager? Or perhaps you have auto fill enabled?

It was your work details, phone, e-mail etc.

yeah saw that - never heard of them before, the email had a click here for more information which I did, and that takes me to the link I posted that had all my info filled in.

I use Chrome which can autofill but always asks first.

Have never seen this tactic before!

I tried to go to the homepage to try and access the page you posted, but it took me to a rather surly worded screen saying I could only access if I'd been invited by e-mail !

The advertised deal was from Lease21. However, the webpage form was NOT theirs.

You received that offer through either an email or some other advertising which is managed by Adestra.

www.adestra.com/contact-us/

That webpage with your details *was* theirs, even though it didn't look like it.

So, either you have used Adestra before, and you may not have been aware that you were doing so, or you have autofill or similar turned on.

I would suggest that you get to the bottom of this, since it may be that your browser is giving up information that you would prefer it did not.

1) Check you have autofill off
2) Clear all cookies and saved forms
3) Go to that offer site again and see if it still fills in your details.

If it does, then more work is needed, but I suspect that either 1 or 2 will resolve it.

I would not recommend you ignore it. It *probably* is not an issue, but good to be sure I think.

You're knocking on, that has to have been at least 30 years ago he was in it.

Not as old as you might think. I was 6 months old when C4 launched in November 1982.

Watched avidly from mid 90's to when I left college so about 2000, think I finished a few years after.

But I knew the past characters and shows heritage from Mum who had watched it since the first episode.

Coronation Street has been my show for the past 15 years or so.

This is how Mercedes etc. work these days. So many people run cars on lease deals that the discounts are by dirt cheap lease deals, often with strings attached (mileage restrictions, high deposits). Gotta keep the factories churning...
