Niece managed to lock her only key of her ix35 in the boot. Its not one of the keyless start models.

She got a locksmith out and 20 mins later the car was open and he left her with a spare key that works the locks. The only thing she was able to give him was her service book which I assume had chassis numbers, maybe key numbers in it?

Assume he must then be able to access codes of some sort that allows him to cut a key in the back of his van?

Very impressive service either way - Â£76 .
