 C4 Dispatches 09/04/18 - Boxsterboy
Did anyone see this last night?

Story on how AdBlue regs in HGVs are being avoided. First by plug-in boxes (which are easy to find on road-side checks) but now by reprogramming the ECU (which can't be detected). The aim is to make the lorry think it's had it's dose of AdBlue when it hasn't. Of course, NOX emissions are up but costly bills to repair failed AdBlue units are down.

Coming to an AdBlue car near you soon?

It can with rolling road tests, but very expensive to do.

In particular, this bit >>Vehicle ECUs would also be interrogated to check that AdBlue was being drawn from the vehicle’s tank.<<

DVSA have been on to this for some time now.
