The front of my car has a liberal sprinkling of ex insects, mainly in the form of tiny red stains.Despite a weekly pressure wash with my Stihl, and excessive rubbing with a sponge, the remnants remain!
Any solutions please, apart from a Brillo pad.

I'm waiting for a journey in the rain before I attempt to remove my entomology collection.

Hot soapy water will lift the marks quicker than luke warm or cold.
When you've got rid of them, make sure there's plenty of polish on the front of the car - the insects will not stick so fast next time.

Believe it or not, to remove stubborn bugs on a car, if there arent too many, I spit on a microfibre cloth and use that - saliva is a fantastic natural cleaner.

I just wonder if dog saliva may be even better? Several people here suggest that wound cleansing by a dog is very effective - until I pointed out that it may depend on what it licked last!
Dog chemistry is certainly different - they are unaffected by raw (bad?) meat, somebody has suggested that they have more acidic stomach contents.

Blimey.
SWMBO loves the looks of most Astons so much that it would not be a problem should I ever own one! She probably wouldn't even bother with a cloth. Disgusting.

I use Autoglym "Active Insect Remover", and find it very effective.
A spray on foam, you simply apply, leave for about 30 seconds, then wipe off with a damp cloth. Safe on glass, clear plastic, plastic trim and paintwork.
