"The drivers have my sympathy. The DPD driver said he had a 4 minute window for each of his 100 + deliveries. That would be bad enough in a large town or city, but some of the roads in Cornwall are barely wide enough for delivery vans. No wonder they fly through my village"

Yes, I've experienced some of those narrow Cornish roads and wonder just how some of the big farm vehicles manage to complete their journeys in reasonable time....:-)

Harleyman would know the answer to that one, I'll wager. I was driving around Warleggan, on Bodmin Moor yesterday - gawd knows how I lived up there for 6.5 years. Some of the lanes are like narrower than narrow. Fortunately for me and my looked-after CR-V, I didn't meet anyone coming the other way.
