Last night after picking up my boy from Scouts I spotted a White Mercedes GLE driving towards me in a very odd way.
The back end looked like it was trying to overtake the front and the driver was visibly wrestling with the wheel to keep it in a straight line.
When I looked further the rear offside wheel was completely bent with most of it tucked under the car and pointing inwards too.
I can only imagine he'd stepped the back out and clouted a kerb so the wheel was at a crazy angle but still attached by the axle and still able to turn.
Clearly it was undriveable but he was having a damn good try at 5mph!

Can happen. Look at Zero for example...

I doubt if he came close to a kerb until he got his new motor. :-)

This take me back this thread.
I was sat waiting in the the car once for someone in a shop car park and I heard a sound almost like a road planer getting louder. Suddenly this Mondeo pulled in the car park in at great speed with the nearside front on the totally on the rim. He causally got out went to the cash machine, got back in and sped off (wheel spinning, grinding the wheel more) back up the main road.
Never seen anything like it ever, the noise, sparks, the groove in the car park.
