 Subaru Forester III (from 2008) - new model - no discount! - Falkirk Bairn
Fairly local outlet offered no discount as it was "just out" - face lift + eyesight.

Thought I'd try a broker - not many do Subaru.

So far 3 quotes received from Scotland based garages & each was 5% off - exactly the same price to the £.

A price ring? Looks like I will need to try in England.

5-6% is all you will get south of the border as well. Subaru don't import loads or have fields full of unsold models, the uk is not an important market for them, and they are very £ /Yen price sensitive.

They might not have fields full, but in the past it has not been unusual for Subarus to be delivered some time after they have been built.

My brother took delivery of a new Levorg last week. He part ex'd his 63 plate low mileage Skoda Octavia 2.0 Tdi 4x4 estate and paid a straight £20k.
Just went to the one dealer, didn't shop around.
With my new car I rang several dealers.... zero discount from any of them. Let's hope it results in half decent residuals!
