Fleet manager advises.
The road traffic act applies to private property where the public can access and therefore if paying by the contact-less feature on your phone you could end up with six points on your licence even though you are on private property.
Best to turn the engine off and apply the handbrake, as in parking the car. Then you should be OK.
Apparently someone accosted by a Rozzer in the car behind at Maccy D's.

The stop/start function has another use after all ;)
A few months ago I did tweet shell about a similar issue
At my local petrol station all the pumps have the usual dire warnings about not using mobile phones etc etc for safety reasons. Bern there for ever
More recently signs highlighting that free wifi has been provided for my convenience have been put up along side them, and underneath is the QR code that you can scan to pay at the pump using applepay...

I am sure there is much more to it than that. No copper is obnoxious enough to nick someone for using a mobile phone just for using the pay function at the cash window.

Probably failed the attitude test.
Pimped Vauxhall Corsa, loud music.......!?

Anyone eating at MacDonalds needs to be locked up.

I had one last week, I was famished and about 6 hours from home. Absolute waste of money, inedible, cold and tasteless.
I used to really enjoy them, but the SWM is on a diet and is cooking "absolutely everything" from scratch and the difference in taste is astonishing and really shows how bad fast food is.

McDonalds hash browns, so scrummy!
Before 10.30 a.m. unfortunately.

McD's apple pie is the ultimate one hand driving food. (as long as you eat it with the right technique, otherwise the bottom splits open and pours red hot apply filling in your crotch)

Qtr pounder with cheese and a large chocolate shake is an occasional indulgence ...
|
|
My only McDonald's indulgence's a McFlurry. A quid for an ice cream must be one of the best bargains around - unless you lot know better?
|
Crap ice cream though. Better to pay more and have a decent Italian ice cream for £2.50 and have it less often.
When in Sicily we had a wonderful dark chocolate ice cream. Except now I think it was probably a sorbet. Chocolate sorbet. Had it since in Greece and Belgium. Really chocolatey and smooth.... but no milk/cream so a sorbet.
