 Tesla - Tesla Model X winter airport transfers - legacylad
I'm walking the GR5 in September with a few friends, South from the Chamonix valley to Briancon.
Whilst researching the best way to return from Briancon to catch our return flight from Geneva, I was directed to have a look at the www.coolbus.co.uk website, who may be able to help with our requirements.
On their website was a blog all about using a Model X for winter airport transfers. How amazingly cool is that! A well written, informative blog about running such a car in winter conditions. Loads of interesting detail and photographs.
So successful that they have ordered a second Model X to run alongside the existing one and their fleet of Caravelles. I'll definitely be using this company in future, albeit in the VW ( probably)

Sorry... can someone do the clicky link thing please? {Done}

Quote from the website:-

"On the 7th of May our Tesla Model X completed its final airport shuttle of the 2016/17 winter ski season. In total it racked up 147 transfers over 45,000 carbon emission free kilometres".

Would someone care to explain to me how those 45,000 kilometres are carbon emission free?

Charging deal from company using solely wind/solar etc?

IIRC French electricity is 70% plus from nuclear. Another 20% from renewables and it's just a question of avoiding the last 10% from fossil sources.
