Has anyone noticed the new Renault Megane advert? The ad agency has put a 'clever' number plate on the car that almost spells Megane. The plate is ME65ANE.
But a 65-plate would make the car 18 months old. And they are trying to sell a new car. It smacks of some Europe-wide campaign where the implications of a 65 in the plate are lost elsewhere in Europe.
The old 'Shaking That Ass' campaign for the Megane 2 was far better ;-) Shame the car was nowhere near as good as the advert.

That would be putting it politely. I can think of alternatives, based on our experience of that model.

Indeed. Some years ago a colleague of mine parted with a hugely reliable 306 that he had owned for a number of years, and bought a new Megane!!
