I was watching an old episode of "To The Manor Born" when I had man flu just after Christmas and they were trying to save the local station.

Much of the picture was pixelated out and I guess it showed the aforementioned on one of his railway adverts.

Always a problem when it turns out that people are often like the curate's egg. That damnable reality.

Some have the good bits forgotten or dimished (eg Jimmy Saville) as we feel they are too tainted. Others get the good bits admired and revered (eg Eric Gill) as the bad bits are ignored for whatever reason.
