Quentin Wilson was on telly today.

He didn't say that he was being paid to promote electric cars, but he might just as well have been. According to him, electric cars have absolutely no defects or shortcomings and the electricity to charge their batteries is generated without any emissions being produced.

Never did like him.

Too sneery and superior.

Don't trust him.

When he did Top Gear it was no good.

Did I mention that I didn't like him?

His books amused me mildly with reference to a Citroen model's early application of Cardin shafts.

Didn't know his tailor from an engineer.

The correct term is Cardan shafts.
