Will most parents be fronting in future ?

well for what its worth i stopped recommending pass plus at least 2 years ago
i also dont bother offering insurance advice anymore as most people have already done their homework and someone in the family nearly always fronts for teenagers, girls as well as boys now

I was always dubious about the supposed discounts available with Pass Plus. With insurance quotes being individually tailored who knows whether they are actually getting a discount or a load of hot air?

The article states that Pass Plus drivers do not have better accidents than those who don't bother with it, and that was my experience too. It's a bit of a farce when an ADI can sign the form to say his pupil (who he or she has got to know well and is relying on them for future recommendations) has reached a satisfactory standard.

One of my daughter's did Pass Plus, and I'd still recommend it even though it won't (and didn't) save any money. It seems lacking that newly-qualified drivers will never have driven on a motorway, may never have driven in the dark, may never have handled a car at national speed limit etc....
