Footage has been released showing a drunk lorry driver reversing along a busy motorway forcing cars to dodge his Eddie Stobart truck.
CCTV charts the faltering and dangerous progress of Czech man Frantisek Formanek as he wove across the M6 Toll in Staffordshire just before 11.25pm on March 1.

Can't be ar$€d to watch it but how do we know he's drunk?
|
The clue is in the news report
"Formanek was arrested at the scene and later found to be more than twice the legal limit for alcohol in his breath."
|
Cue AC getting out of bed and arguing that twice the legal limit isn't really drunk, any fule kno, it just heightens the senses and probably makes you a better driver. Etc. Raaaas.
;-)

I wouldn't go that far, but I would say his main problem is being unable to reverse a lorry. How did he get the job?

I wondered that. Certainly with car trailers, the longer ones are easier to reverse.
|
Longer trailers react slower to steering inputs, this makes them easier to reverse. The driver above is making the mistake of too much steering, due to being drunk.

>>due to being drunk<<
....and panicking like mad!
It's my guess he'd spent the toll money on Vodka and realised he was in trouble:)
He's in more trouble now and so he should be!

If he drinks a lot then you wouldn't expect him to be massively affected at 2x the limit, so I wonder what he was trying to achieve by reversing?
|
Really Alanović, if you are going to paraphrase my posts you might at least read them properly...
RAAAAARSE to you too comrade.
|
Eddy Stobart lorry was it?
Is it a good company to work for or did the pressure get to him.
