is reviewed in the motoring section of today's comic. It doesn't look its best in silver over pale blue, but it's a bit rectangular to pass for an elegant body anyway.
Got to be a lovely motor though guv any way you look at it. Of course it costs a few bob to get worse than 14mpg driving gently. More than a quarter of a million quid in fact. Where do people get all this money? I wish I knew.

"the most uncompromised open-top motoring experience in the world"
Really?
I guess they have different priorities to me.
I'll stick with my mx-5.

I wouldn't say no to one if I had £250k laying about doing nothing:

10 MX5s and a Range Rover for winter.
|
I'd have one MX5, a Range Rover for winter, and at least 4 skiing holidays every year and a month in the Caribbean in the summer to recover.
Reminds me, must check that lottery ticket, only a matter of time now the odds are 45 million to one...

Looks a bit like a Chrysler!

I transported an original Dawn from Liverpool to Southampton Docks for onward export. That was a nice car.
It may have had a right hand gear change. I have a picture of the car somewhere...I'll try to find it.
Found it....

That looks like a Wraith to me Ted (separate chromed headlights and short boot: the Silver Dawn looked like an R Type Bentley with a RR grille, headlamps faired in and a longer boot pressing. Made I think originally for the US market).
It would certainly have had a r/h gearlever unless it was an auto, as some were.

Down in my records as a Dawn, Lud...1954. Drove it down from home after collection from Dutton Forshaw at Mann Island.
I think it was off to the Middle East after a Sotheby's auction.

Well, I'll just have to defer to you on that one. I don't claim any special expertise.
Car makers do play fast and loose with model names sometimes.
