Woman driving on main road through known crime area.
Stops at lights, three wrong 'uns approach car, smash window, lean in to grab stuff off seats.
Woman pulls gun (her husbands) - BANG - one young scrote is dead.
Outcry! Granny of 16-yr-old 'victim' up in arms - she should have fired a warning shot! He was unarmed... etc etc
Civil Rights Law types as why she was allowed to use hubby's gun? And again the warning shot question...
Later investigation shows
a) he had a knife. It was next to his body in crime scene pictures
b) he had previous form. IDENTICAL previous form. Last September, he was spotted by police who chased him, went to arrest him, and he pulled a knife. Cop shoots him in the hip. They find a bag on him containing loads of stolen in smash-and-grab stuff. He gets charged ... and subsequently bailed!
Outcry #2! Why was he allowed out in the first place? After all, waving knives about at coppers is pretty much an attempted murder rap.
Gun types ask HOW woman is supposed to fire a warning shot when the scrote is IN the car, with a knife already? That extra second could have been fatal for her. Also, WHERE does one fire the shot? In the car itself - danger of ricochet. Through a window - danger to passers-by/other motorists.
Thankfully common sense has prevailed, and no charges will be brought against the woman.
