you dont need to buy their oil but it would tell you if you had been charged for 5 litres of oil at the dealershop when the site advises 3 litres for your car

While on the topic, this site can help navigate the complicated world of Mercedes Benz recommended fluids for vehicles;

I don't think even Vauxhall would recommend 5W/40 fully synthetic for a Cavalier.

The Comma site suggests the same oil for my 2.0 Hdi Xantia and my 1.9D Berlingo. Citroen's recommendations (based on Total products) are quite different.

Does this statement from the Millers site mean that it actually meets the specification?

Suitable for use where the following specifications are called for by the vehicle manufacturer:-

Mitsubishi SP II and SP III
Toyota T-III, T- IV and Toyota WS
Honda ATF Z1

I would say so

Millers has a good name, so if they say put one of their oils in your car, you can be confident it will do the job.

Accurate for one of my cars-not for the other and both are mainstream vehicles.

According to my handbook the sump capacity, change interval and oil type are all wrong (or at least different).
The figure for sump capacity is too low by at least a litre, which might be a bit dodgy.
