....at crossing the road.

Sadly we see them at the roadside either about to cross or flattened....always makes me wince...they are so lovely compared to the 'orrible grey ones.

Some kids were messing about at the edge of the road as I walked by the other day. I asked them if they had not been in the Tufty Club and they looked at me as if I was mad. I tried Green Cross Man, Green Cross Code and even Kerb Drill. Nothing.

What do they teach them these days?

I don't know what's happened to the world.

road deaths are down. telling them not to run in the road seems to have worked without all that green men and talking animals sh--

More likely there are fewer kids near roads. They are either on them, when Jocantha gets taken to pony club in the second 4x4, or Kyle and Kylie are indoors with one eye on Sky and the other on Skype.

At the kerb HALT! etc.

Could never understand what Lakeland HB - WRCC had to do with road safety. :-P

Never seen a red squirrel to my knowledge. But there are grey ones all over the place here, including a lot of squashed ones on the road. They have no traffic sense at all.

Must be related to kangaroos, at least Tufties don't do as much damage if you hit one.

There is a claim that greys are extinct here. I dunno the reds we do see are a delightful shade of dark red. Almost surreal to see them...
