Dunno about that one, but a colleague who had a convertible Peugeot was most upset when I showed him how the recent thief should have got in without slashing the hood and doing much damage than even the retail value of the goods - let alone what a fence would have paid.

That would have got a ticket from some wardens in the city here for overhanging the bay.
If I use a bay, I'm meticulous that even the towball and spare wheel are inside the lines.

Funny, I was wondering that this morning. What are the rules? That the wheels should be within? Or that the bodywork should not over hang? Or something else?

I once got done for overhanging a parking bay. Wheels were well in, boot wasn't.
