Would have been interesting if the LA had turned up to fill in the pothole in the pavement reported last week...

I hope they don't do the repair that our council did, they tar and chipped a section of road, potholes included.

We don't have the problem at our end of the road...it's made of concrete slabs about 16ft square...laid in 1925.

The one outside our house used to rock when a heavy vehicle passed over it...setting off the old ' vibration ' type car alarms, remember the ones with the pendulum ?
