Don't know if its relevant but the Porsche rear spoiler is raised? And all airbags gone off which would suggest to me its the Porsche that's hit the van.
Added to that the fact that this van is right behind the vehicle in front.

I know this junction very well. I also know the van, it belonging to our local deli, Out delivering goods from their bakery to city restaurants probably.
Looks as though the van was waiting for the lights at London Road when the Porsche smote it up it's chuff and went under. The van wouldn't have had the room to get any speed up in reverse. From the position of the car's wheels it looks as it may have been wanting to turn left and misjudged the gap between the van and the kerb.
Looks like the exact spot was just behind the black BMW. Piccadilly railway station is behind the camera.

I didn't see any BMW.
But goodness didn't that poor little red Porsche get ripped to pieces? Of course you wouldn't want a big white van trying to drive off your jalopy. But it would be your own fault for being under the thing in the first place.
:o}
I always find the noises they make on these videos very annoying and strangely irrelevant. Am I alone in this?

The BMW is in Ted's map link, not in the newspaper report.
Alternative explanation: three vehicles - Mercedes Vito (or whatever) people carrier, deli van, Porsche - approaching lights. Porsche driver is intending to turn left and following too close to the deli van. Lights turn amber; Vito driver surprises deli driver by stopping. Deli driver brakes hard to stop just in time, but Porsche driver is too close to see anything but the van's brake lights and has nowhere left to go. Deli van is in a steep nose-down attitude because of the heavy braking, creating the space for the Porsche's low nose to slide under its tail and wedge it into the air.

"Porsche left crushed"
It's a dented bonnet and cracked windscreen. It's the journalist and his editor that should be crushed.

I suspect the roof may have a scratch or two, to put it mildly!

This comment is unashamedly stolen from another site, but... Vans can be very tricky to balance on roof racks, mine is always falling off like that...

Update.
Evening News today reports that the driver of the Porsche has been reported for careless driving and failure to undergo a breath test.
The owner of the Barbakan Deli says his driver heard a car coming up at speed behind him and then his van was hit from behind and tossed in the air...landing back on the car.
We'll see what happens next.

Suspended prison sentence, 42 months ban , fine/costs £850 and 200 hrs community service unpaid.
Our deli is still doing well and still delivering their bread around the city.

AND a knackered Porker, which will need some serious repairs - which I'm sure the insurance mob won't touch with a bargepole.
In this instance, does the deli van get fixed by the Porsche insurers? Or the deli's own, and they will claim from Mr Porker?

I don't think it matters, both insurers will talk to each other and obfuscate over who actually forks out.
The deli's premium will increase, since their van driver clearly uses roads frequented by careless Porsche drivers.
