.....IIRC someone on here has a black LEC......

Trouble is you'd never know if you were about to get laid - or laid to rest.

Yeah well, y'know, maybe...

The drivers of silver cars, I note smugly, are mature, drive carefully and are less likely to have crashes.
|
I think Zero has a blue car.
|
Can we even count cars bought secondhand? Most of us in that market just buy what's on offer. I'd have had a blue LEC but there wasn't a single one in my range; not being in Humph's trade, I wasn't having a black one, so it was silver or the occasional intermediate shade of grey.
I don't think Humph can crow either, as I think he's mentioned that there's a company policy of issuing black vehicles; best background for the wreaths, presumably.

Heh heh... even new, if you're in a hurry or want a bargain. I've never given a damn what colour cars were, although of course some are nicer than others for a given car. Our present car is a hand-me-down, an offer we couldn't refuse, and a very sound jalopy it seems so far fingers crossed, coming up to 100,000 miles. A fairly expensive service is looming.
With the right sort of car and free choice I favour matt grey primer or rat-look black, perhaps with a yellow tail panel to set off the quadruple (but not over-loud on low throttle) exhausts... But then I always was a pretentious flash hooligan.

Ah. Good point, well made.
|
Heh, heh ... My Transporter is black. Didn't there used to be a sticker saying "Don't bother knockin' if the van's rockin'"?
|
I saw a black Transporter recently being driven by a big chap with a sticker on the bottom of the back door saying "No Jaffa Cakes are left in this vehicle overnight"
Sorry if I've mentioned that before, but it sort of amused me.

Me drive a blue car. I can be a bit reckless sometimes driving to fast otherwise try to be polite.
|
Don't talk to me about black cars....bought a black A3 for the ex Supergrans daughter. Look where it got me.
Licking my wounds after a glorious afternoon watching the Giants beat the Padres at AT & T stadium SF. Crab sandwiches and several large G & Ts. CA is currently in drought conditions so I can empathise. Oh well, gotta leave our rented condo and indulge in more Mexican tasty food & sup margeritas by the pool with the long legged lovelies. Only another three days of this hell before Vegas. Hope I don't get knocked over by a black Hummer whilst looking the wrong way.
|
Hey - you can always sell the A3 to pay for the extended holiday!
|
Surprisingly quite a lot of 5 door A3s here in SF. Not looked at what engines they have yet...once I drag myself away from Sierra Nevada pale ale & cocktails.
