I've met a downhill road that slippery - very hard to proceed and made worse by the idiot taxi driver in front of me who was using the brakes (fine) but had left the automatic transmission in drive and the taxi was nicely polishing the road behind it courtesy of the spinning rear wheels with no throttle (autos creep and that was all it doing really).
The American one though, 20 seconds with a shovel would have had him on his way, although I've a feeling I could have extracted that car by reversing a bit then going forwards.
