Just finished setting up (part of) the Greenfleet/Evolution Show at Ingliston.
Greenfleet has been running a few years now and aimed at fleet buyers, but they have an extra day now opened up to the public.
To busy to have a proper look around, but some notes of interest: -
The French Marques are heavily represented with Peugeot / Citroen / Renault and Nissan in attendance.
There is a rather superb looking Tesla Model S on show (and available to test drive, I think). What really caught my eye though, was the BMW i8 – simply stunning! Didn’t get a chance to see any facts/figures, but I’m back later and will have a closer look.
Nissan had a Qashqai emblazoned with vinyl’s claiming CO2 emissions under 100 and 70 odd mpg combined. Looks interesting.
Vauxhall’s Ampera looks big, bulky and heavy in the flesh.
I’ll have a nosey round the Lexus stand too. An old GS450h is still top of my list to replace the Pug (although that just keeps on going)

The word 'mar qu ee is blocked - I believe, because it means something special in programming speak - I think?
Perhaps that's why?

IIRC it's an HTML effect which only the mods can use to do stuff like:

Thanks Dave.
Forgot to say, there is also an electric boat & a selection of electric bicycles to try out.

No idea of how much is left, but presumably test drives are round part of the old car race track?
I used to go there quite a lot in the late 80s, spectating, spannering and for sprints, driving too. Got a video of me spinning and using the momentum to leave the circuit backwards!
Knockhill, now the only race circuit in Scotland, is a good circuit from the design point of view, but it certainly gets the weather.

Whoops, sorry, I'd left Scotland by 1991.
