Sounds like a dogged investigation

Clearly not a crossply breed.

I come across collies on many of the farms I deliver to, and quite a few have a thing about tyres. Usually this simply means peeing on them, but some dogs will chase my lorry off the farm whilst biting at the rear wheels as I drive up the track. When I was new to the job this was quite disconcerting, but they rarely come to any harm; you do however encounter the odd "tripod" who evidently tried a bit too hard..... and lost.

I was helping on a friend's farm and felt the double thump as a sheepdog went under the wheels of a landie.
They seemed to accept it as 'one of those things'.

Couldn't have been a champion sheepdog then; the ones that win "One Man and his Dog" and suchlike I mean.
They change hands for ridiculous sums of money.
