Compare and contrast the fuss with Toyota recalls..


"BMW has asked than one million car owners worldwide to return their vehicle, because of a possible fault which could cause them to catch fire.

The German carmaker is concerned with the 5 Series and 6 Series models built between 2003 and 2010, which could have an incorrectly mounted battery cable cover inside the boot."

I think that's about right. The headline Toyota recall concerned cars that could, allegedly, become uncontrollable. Any subsequent recall gives journalists an opening to rehash that story over again.

Another Toyota recall....I've got 3 2013 reg Yarises to take in next week for a torque check on something to do with the brakes.

Don't know what it is....not really bothered.
