Seems a deal to me
Bristol Street Motors are doing a 1.6 petrol (115BHP)
It will be no greyhound but 7 seats and under £10K seems a good deal to me

Is it not a sort of friends and family scheme??

Employer, union, friends and family etc - there was a list in our local paper a couple of years ago and between us I think we 'qualified' about 6 different ways.

Aye, I reckon I saw a new shape Zafira on the motorway in France recently.
Thanks for the link FB, my Mum might be interested.

new one on the way?
Ooh! Bated breath in rental offices across the land.
There are two Zafiras - the existing one that they are keeping on as a budget model (for a while anyway) and the new Zafira Tourer which is sleeker and more modern, has been around for about 6 months at least although very rarely seen on road.
...the new Zafira Tourer which is sleeker and more modern...
...for the sleeker and more modern airport renter.
I wouldn't dis them too much, not for me but hey ho !
Maybe, but where's the fun in that?

Same car atg alocal garage a grand more - no catches. Guess that's what the BSM one would retail around that and that the "scheme" would knock the other grand off - reckon you could till get it for £10k if you went with a bag full of cash.
There are sharp looking Tourers on the delaer websites.
I've been given one as a hire car a couple of times. Loads of room inside, great practical car (albeit without much soul...)
It is perfect family transport. Practical, not exciting, but certainly not annoying.
I'd be tempted to snaffle one for herself now the Civic is 11 years old (she likes cargo space for her hobbies which include carting a couple of spinning wheels around) if it had aircon.
I'm sure I saw them up at 9995 unreg at Pentagon Vauxhall in Derby the other week.
Popular motability cars because of the low/nil deposit. A family with three nippers (one with mobility needs) near me has one, cheaper than their old 'lingo Multispace.
I can confirm the deal.
A friend has just brought one from there.
A genuine deal with £8k off the normal price. a real bargain.
My friends was delivered to the garage with 4 miles on the clock so they are certainly new.
He had to pay extra for fuel though otherwise the tank would be dry. lol
Even the dusty cogs in my head started thinking about the deal but chose against it.
Vauxhall's web site does not have a deal like this and Bristol street's web site states managers special deal.
Not just a Bristol Street Offer
All major chains nationwide have similar offers on the same models,
1.6 Petrol Exclusiv £9999, £9995, £9991
Can you spot a better price? Brand new / Pre-Reg, etc
I've driven one for 114,000 miles and it's been one of the most reliable cars I've owned. Two new rear springs next Tuesday though!

You can't go wrong really.
Thats why I was tempted after going in my mates new Zafira even though the engines not the preferred size
Everyone needs to get out the middle row before you can tilt the seats forward for access to the rear seats
thats the same with most MPV cars.
On the Kia Sedona, one person would have to get out of the middle row to fold the seat so people can get in the rear seats
I believe the Galaxy / Alhambras and the Peugeot 5008 only need to tilt the one individual seat to get in the back.
Last Thursday I saw two red Zafira's on 13 plates. I thought the new one was out for a bit too but not seen them. This price of under £10k might explain why I saw two of the same colour in the same area within 2 hours. And they were different reg plates so two different Zafiras.
I don't like the Zafira myself - but what a bargain!
Wiki has Zafira B still being produced at Bochum, Germany alongside Zafira C:

Comes with the 100K / lifetime warranty to
Had a few as rentals and they are OK. The 1.6 is a bit asthmatic, but I'm sure would be adequate for most
...that's the same with most MPV cars.
Not with the good ones. They have three individual seats in the second row, that can be slid, tilted or folded independently. Was a major reason for choosing our Verso, but the C4 Grand Piano, S-Max, Galaxy and Touran do the same thing. The Zafira's seating makes it a significantly less useful car, no better than an estate car for carrying a family of five with luggage.
We had to go somewhere for work as a team in 2010. Should have been six of us but ended up as 5. The hire car was ordered and I knew it would be a Zafira or similar. Luckily there were 5 of us... and so we just fitted including laptops etc.
The rear seats cannot be used for adults really. And not just for legroom reasons. Try sitting in one.
Lots of betters cars if you just needs 5 seats max.
Presumably customers have been paying around the 10k mark for a while. No one buys a Vauxhall for their strong residuals but this will destroy what litle their was for owners of 6 month old examples.

Bit too heavy body for a 1.6. Tried a 1.6 Scenic but the 2.0 diesel was so much better. That price is very attractive though if you are happy with the engine size.
Yep, if it was a class leader then they wouldn't be discounting it at this level. The NRC's are long since recovered so any extra units they can shift at the end of its life will be extra cash for VX.
They are probably selling to people who would have otherwise bought a used model so the benefit of the warranty will overcome some of the shortcomings
Crap car or not - for someone on a budget it's a cracking bargain - Lifetime guarantee and a reasonable build quality - you really can't go wrong at that price.
We bought one about 4 months ago for £10,995 on very low rate finance. I wouldn't even have thought about buying a Vauxhall but the price and the warranty made it difficult to refuse. We have two young children and had a 6 year old RAV4 on a PCP that was expiring so the "cost to change" was only £2,500 (they only wanted £200 deposit so the change actually gave me 20 months payment in the bank). My wife had given up work and we will do only 5 or 6 k miles a year in this car with many being short journeys so the petrol fits us perfectly. Huge boot but the back row of seats are only any use for short journeys unless you are under 5' 3 where they become acceptable. Very smooth and quiet around town but becomes a bit noisy at around 60, quietening down again at about 75 (strangely). The ride quality is much better than the RAV but we do miss the effortless torque of the 2.2 diesel.
It's certainly not a "crap car" and when it came out in 2005 was probably one of the best small MPV's. Now it's getting long in the tooth and the new Zafira Tourer is more modern but larger and far more expensive. The qualities it had a few years ago haven't disappeared just cars have moved on - hence this is a run-out model at a very good price.
When we went to USA, the missus had bought the biggest suitcases ever - the worlds lightest suitcase or something like that.
Anyway, neighbour with a Zafira gave us a lift to airport - was surprised that the cases could all stand up vertically side by side in his boot (back 2 seats folded down obviously).
When we got to USA and my hire car Hyundai ix 35, the cases had no chance of standing up and weren't too far away from struggling to be on their side!
