19yr old daughter of former director of Drive Assist (Now liquidated) gets 6 months jail for crashing a car into a row of homes.

Very very common, a footballer in Manchester got locked for 18 months for doing 60 in a 30 and killing two people. He got 18 months.

It seems money goes to a lot of young peoples heads, and it makes them lethal behind a powerful car.

Is it really just the money though? Or even the power of the car? Young people of all backgrounds have been crashing since the invention of the car! Sure, they tend to get more press coverage when they're expensive or powerful cars, but I wonder what the stats say? Are proportionally more BMWs and the like stuffed into the scenery (or buildings...) when driven by young people than Corsas etc? My guess is no... Doesn't excuse her response though
