Now I know this series of films appeals to a certain sector of the motoring fraternity who probably do not grace this forum :), however I have just been dragged along to see the new Star Trek by daughters and treated to half an hour of adverts and trailers one of which was an action scene in the soon to be released - The Fast and the Furious 6.
Now I thought my eyes were deceiving me but apparently not. Amongst all the American muscle cars doing the usual business there it was - a big winged Mk1 Escort ! Now that is a result. May go up even further in value.

Cumberbitches? (pardon the vulgarity but it's a recognised term apparently)
|
Was the Escort being driven by Hannu Mikkola?
If so, I have to see that film
|
Err no. Paul Walker. Unless Hannu of course did the stunt double.
Not that I know any of the actors you understand :S The other one was Vin Petrol or some such name.

No. They are, 'Pine Nuts'.
I too saw the Graham Norton Show :)

Sorry, but I'm a bit passionate about Mk1s

Was that a Jensen I spotted at the end of the trailer?

These film companies are almost as bad as the classic banger racing scene in the way they are slowing getting rid of automotive history. With the former owners consent, it must be said, but then who can resist the prices they pay?
