The seller describes himself as a professional musician. I wonder if he's familiar with the work of Johnny Cash.

Last week, we sold my son's Corsa as scrap for £130. Don't A8s have aluminium body shells? I'd have thought this would be worth a sizeable sum for the metal alone.

He wants someone to buy and use the car. He doesn't want to scrap it. Evidently, that's worth more to him than a coupla hundred nicker. Good on him.

Hopefully, someone isn't going to buy it for a tenner and tow it straight to a scrappie. :-)

This is a V8 Quattro which is the 1988-on model before the A8. It has a galvanized bodyshell.

It would be a lovely car to drive for a week but the shed of one car made from two is my worst nightmare.

I reckon you'd make an easy £1k splitting it all and selling for parts though.
